La Placita Cinco Wins Affordable Housing Award for Community Project of the Year

La Placita Cinco has won the The Kennedy Commission’s Affordable Housing Award for Community Improvement Project of the Year! CDP celebrated this win with our project partners, the City of Santa Ana and Mercy House Living Centers.

Located in the heart of Santa Ana, La Placita Cinco transformed an underutilized strip center into a new housing community for low-income Santa Ana residents. The three- to -four story building provides 51 units, consisting of two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartment homes, as well as a ground-floor community amenity space.

CDP couldn’t be prouder of La Placita Cinco – the development forged new paths by revitalizing a prototypical retail plaza into a vibrant, community-oriented development.
