Community Development Partners Expands Leadership Team with Two Key Hires: Sarah Schubert and Angela Heyward

Community Development Partners (CDP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Schubert as Development Director, Northwest and Angela Heyward as Development Director, Southwest. These strategic additions to the leadership team expand the company’s capacity to meet its development goals and strengthen CDP’s mission of creating life-enhancing affordable housing.

Sarah Schubert brings over 17 years of real estate development and finance experience to CDP and has worked on affordable housing projects in both Portland, OR and New York City. Most recently, Sarah worked as the Director of Development for BRIDGE Housing’s Portland office and before that as the Director of Housing for Human Solutions, Inc. (now known as Our Just Future), where she oversaw the Development, Asset Management, and Resident Services teams.

Angela Heyward also brings over 17 years of affordable housing experience, and has managed Development, Finance, Property Management, and Asset Management at organizations such as People’s Self-Help Housing, Cesar Chavez Foundation, and the City of San Francisco. Most recently, Angela was the Interim Chief Redevelopment Officer for Neighborhood Housing Services in Los Angeles.

In their roles at CDP, both will oversee their respective Northwest and Southwest development teams, directing the lifecycle of all projects, from pre-development to stabilization. The hires come following the recent promotion of Jessica Woodruff as CDP’s Chief Development Officer. Under Jessica’s leadership, Sarah, Angela and the development team will focus on meeting CDP’s five-year strategic plan objectives designed to increase its impact.

“We are delighted to welcome Sarah and Angela to the CDP team,” said CEO, Eric Paine. “Their leadership qualities, expertise and commitment to community development align perfectly with our mission. With their contributions, we are confident that we will accelerate our efforts to bring more life-enhancing affordable housing to the individuals and families within the communities we serve.”
