Angela Heyward
Director of Development SW (CA)

With more than 17 years of affordable housing experience, Angela brings a deep real estate knowledge to CDP. Throughout her career, she has managed Development, Finance, Property Management, and Asset Management at organizations such as People’s Self-Help Housing, Cesar Chavez Foundation, and the City of San Francisco. Most recently, Angela was the Interim Chief Redevelopment Officer for Neighborhood Housing Services in Los Angeles, where she managed Construction, Project Management, and Asset Management.

As CDP’s Development Director for the Southwest Region, Angela manages the California office’s development team and oversees the lifecycle of all projects, from pre-development to stabilization. She received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration at Howard University and her Master’s in Business Administration from USC. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her two sons.
