Fair Housing Council of Riverside County Selects St. Michaels as Faith Honoree

We are excited to announce that St. Michael’s was selected by the Fair Housing Council of Riverside County as the Faith Honoree at the Champions for Justice 18th Annual Awards Banquet!

The St. Michael’s Development, located in Riverside, California, contributes to the City of Riverside’s goal of creating additional affordable housing and maximizing the use of church-owned land while meeting both the City’s public needs and the church’s commitment to service. The project will help fill a growing need for permanent housing opportunities for Riverside’s homeless population by providing fifty new affordable units, twenty-four designated for those experiencing homelessness, as well as a diverse array of amenities, open spaces, and services.

Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc. (FHCRC) is a non-profit organization that fights to protect the housing rights of all individuals and we are so proud they selected St. Michael’s for this award! The project was created to help residents maintain stability and wellness in their lives by providing housing, supportive services, and trauma-informed care. We can’t wait for the site to be completed and to welcome residents to their new homes.
