King’s Crossing Village
AURORA, COLORADO
Goal: King’s Crossing Village introduces a CFAA campus to the residents of Aurora, Colorado, as a tribute to Pastor Felix’s legacy and impactful work.
In partnership with Restoration Christian Ministries (RCM), King’s Crossing Village (KCV) is a 179-unit, campus-style development across three buildings in Aurora’s Centretech neighborhood. The community offers 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom floor plans for households earning 30% – 80% of the area median income. 51 units are reserved for those aged 55+.
As a Community for All Ages (CFAA), KCV is designed to foster intergenerational connection through thoughtful design and resident services, which are led by RCM. RCM will provide on-site intergenerational programming in collaboration with local partners. The project embodies Pastor Felix Gilbert’s vision to house those in need by transforming underutilized parking lots into a vibrant community that honors his legacy.
More than just housing, KCV serves as a community hub where residents of all ages can live, work, and thrive. With intentional design and comprehensive resident services, KCV aims to create a supportive environment where families can overcome social and economic challenges. By activating unused spaces, KCV not only provides affordable housing but strengthens the fabric of the Aurora community.
